Expectations

Expectations. One of the biggest things that everyone in this society has to deal with. It has come to my attention that everyone in this society gives expectations. Whether it's about people or situations, there are always expectations and we all have to deal with them.

From personal experience, it's not always easy to say what you feel let alone live up to someone's expectations. Everyone in the world gives expectations to each other and we don't always live up to them. Disappointment usually comes after since we may not always meet certain standards.

I just want to take a moment to say that it's alright sometimes to not meet certain standards. The society we live in gives us such high expectations especially when the people around us are achieving such great things and we are all expected to do the same. Every person finds their own happiness and success at their own rates.

Break away from old expectations and just do something YOU love. Do things because YOU want to and not because someone "expects" you to or because their forcing you.

Hope you found this helpful. xoxo

My Top 3 Fall Fashion Essentials

Welcome back to my blog!
My first official post is going to be about my fall essentials. I would describe my style as a little but edgy but still comfy and cute. Since I live in California it hasn't been anywhere close to as cold as the weather in other places of the world (even though I wish it was colder) but nevertheless, here are my top three fall fashion essentials at the moment:

  • Chelsea Boots: I have been in love with Chelsea type boots from the second I first saw them. I have a pair from Urban Outfitters by the brand Silence + Noise. Sadly, they are sold out but they are amazingly comfy and I know I will get tons of use out of them! Many people have been wearing them and they are very in. Here are some similar to mine from H&M: http://www.hm.com/us/product/17999?article=17999-a#article=17999-A
  • Charm Chokers: When many people started wearing them, I wasn't too sure whether I liked them or not but after getting one, I started to like them. They are simple little necklaces that can complete your outfit really well. Mine are homemade by a couple of my friends but you can buy them from this website too: http://druzydreams.bigcartel.com/product/wishbone-choker
Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post and got to know me a little better! Also comment down below what you would like to see next!

Welcome

Hi. So this is my very first blog post. I'm sort of nervous since I've never done something like this before and I was suddenly inspired to start one after the depression I've been dealing with lately. This blog post is being made just so I can introduce to you what I will be posting about on this website. Firstly, I would like to explain what chance and charm stand for really. Chance stands for all the adventures and things that everyone goes through. Charm stands for the fashion and other things relating to that. (Although it is a little cheesy, it was the best thing I could come up with!) I created this blog to be a little safe place (like a journal of some sort) to write about my days and so that someone out there, who had dealt with these things before could help me out.

First, I would like to say that I want to keep this anonymous for personal reasons. Secondly, I am a teenager so hopefully someone out there around this age will read this. Lastly, I hope you reading this will enjoy this blog where I will be telling you about my experiences, adventures, and fashion. I hope to be posting about once a week and I am just creating this again, to help readers and also so that I can have an outlet where I can just talk about anything that I feel like I can't talk about to anyone else.

Like I said previously, this blog will be about my experiences, those being anything that I have gone through, adventures, anywhere I have traveled or visited, and lastly fashion, which I love. No matter how many people are reading this, it will be a safe place for me or anyone really to talk about what they are really feeling.

If you have any questions at all concerning this blog, please email me at chanceandcharm@gmail.com. I will try to answer all emails (if i get any) and hope to post again soon!
P.S. I am not trying to say that I have any qualifications to give advice but I'm just doing this for fun! (:
